The orchard features over 200 blueberry bushes that enjoy perfect growing conditions - rich red and free draining volcanic soil, slightly acidic irrigation water and a north-easterly elevated aspect. The season runs from late December through to March. Our bushes are primarily Vaccinium corymbosum, the Northern Highbush variety of North America, including the Australian bred 'Brigitta'.
